Visual Stress Test
A typical initial appointment will start with a visual assessment. This will include the following:
Full eye examination which includes checking the health of the eye and any need for spectacles
Binocular vision work up
Coloured overlay assessment using the Wilkins Rate of Reading test
Pattern Glare Test
Where appropriate, a spectacle prescription may be prescribed, eye exercises may be given and where Coloured overlays are found to be helpful, a trial period is carried out. Follow-ups are arranged as appropriate
Colorimetry testing is offered following a successful coloured overlay trial whereby Precision Tinted Lenses are prescribed where appropriate
A written report is included in the visual assessment fee
